The purpose of this Corporation is to organize for the Community Economic Development, Health and Financial Education, Undoing Racism, and Historic Preservation highlighting the achievements and accomplishments of the African American population of the 33 counties of East TN, including for such purposes, as acquiring the resources to distribute to affiliated organizations included in the AATFC network that qualify as exempt organizations under section 5o1 c3 of the Internal Revenue code, or corresponding sections of any future federal tax code; to promote public understanding of the past, present and future presence of African Americans in the 33 counties of East TN for mutual support and strength; to monitor and initiate legislation  relating to issues specific to African Americans that promote positive change; and to work collaboratively with government and private social services, the justice system, health, welfare, business, industries, organizations and other pertinent agencies  in the 33 counties of East TN.
